Camp
What you think of, when you think of camp
JCCSF Camps encompass a wide range of everything the JCCSF, the Bay Area and breaktime have to offer.
Imbued with Jewish values and traditions, Our camps are social experiences where children build strong friendships and lasting memories. Our experienced staff construct a nurturing, respectful environment where children develop self-esteem as they meet new challenges in age-appropriate activities and bond with a community of peers.
Each day is filled with excitement: swimming, sports, art, music, drama, nature, lake trips, adventures on the town, theme days and overnight camping. Each week ends with a festive all-out, all-camp Shabbat celebration.
We welcomes children from all faiths and backgrounds.
Activities include:
- Daily outdoor play
- Recreational swimming in the JCCSF pool
- Outdoor lake trip at least once per session
- Theme days
- One-night overnight camping trips for grades 3 – 5 (Sessions 1 – 4)
- Weekly trips to area parks and playgrounds
- Low camper-to-counselor ratios
- Mifcad (morning circle) with skits, songs and camp spirit
- Weekly all-camp Shabbat celebrations
